Plant, compost and mulch distribution

The Sud-Ouest Borough distributes annual and perennial flower, vegetable and herbs seedlings, compost and mulch for free to Sud-Ouest residents, groups and organizations.
TRANSPLANT YOUR PLANTS
To benefit from this distribution, which takes place every spring, visit the distribution point in the neighborhood where you live. Proof of address will be required. Eco-quartier Sud-Ouest has set up 4 sites so that as many residents as possible can participate and get there on foot. Bring your own containers for compost and/or mulch, as well as a bag for your plants.
ANNUAL DISTRIBUTION TO RESIDENTS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- You must live in the Sud-Ouest borough of Montréal Proof of address will be required.
- Visit the distribution point located in the neighborhood where you live. The locations are listed above.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Contribute to increasing biodiversity on the territory by participating in the distribution of annual and perennial flower, vegetable and herb seedlings from the Sud-Ouest borough! As a volunteer, you’ll have first choice of plants.
DISTRIBUTION TO RESIDENT GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS
VEGETABLE DISTRIBUTION groups
If you are a cooperative, school, church, community group, non-profit organization, green alley committee or tenant association, you can register and apply.
Applications are numerous, but all are carefully studied by the Éco-quartier. The final selection is made on the basis of criteria laid down by the borough.
COMPOST AND MULCH groups
Are you a community organization, institution or citizens’ group that needs compost and/or mulch?
The Borough delivers compost and mulch free of charge. Please note that the Borough may not be able to supply certain materials.
